I am pretty sure "repudiation" means simply ENB want to walk away from the CXY Agreement.

They are a small company and Centauri 1 is a huge project for them ... perhaps they are struggling to fund their side of the project? Perhaps they want to go with conventional gas instead of UCG? Perhaps they have mothballed the project?

We can't know if ENB don't announce the details of their current thinking.

I would muse that if CXY are taking legal advice, that they had high expectations of the potential for UCG at Centauri 1 and are disappointed.
