I try not to buy reits unless discounted to nta. If i could forecast the resell value of their current developments and discount the profits in today's dollars, and found a suitable return I would buy. But alas, I do not have the knowledge nor desire!
Another thing to watch out for is the buy/sell spread and volume. I don't want to have to take a major hit if I have to sell quickly for any reason.
