It’s actually not a bad idea but I am against it as minority shareholder.

The market is very much a momentum market right now being driven by investors looking at short term gains rather than long term outcomes. Right now I am seeing the value arbitrage that typically happens in late stage bulls as people that haven’t been around long enough are using shorthands like revenue multiples to value prospective growth companies. The problem is, right now there are entire sectors that are massively overpriced. The difficulty is distilling the true high quality wheat from the chaff.

Unexciting sectors are on the other hand are on the other hand being completely ignored by the segment that is moving the market. The odd unexciting stock like ASH which actually has very exciting growth prospects will do well irrespectively of the market. In a bull case when the market catches on to the operating leverage of the training sector there is the chance for a significant rerating. In the bear case there is very little chance of losing money on a stock with a prospective forward dividend yield of >10%, which is also rising.

these stocks do test the patience sometimes- I really cannot see what the market is thinking here. Only stock I averaged up into the last HY report which shows my conviction here but due to the fact everything else (nearly) has moved only 6% of my portfolio now.
