ZXc, even if there are no international and Cameroon legal problems in granting to the Chinese who are just the buyer at this stage instead to the explorer owning the exploration licenses, all the IP and has worked on the prospecting, drilling and resource definition for many years, the Chinese WOULD NOT take it (all in the name of a failed bid in which the second largest economy in the world has reneged on a deal that it agreed to a month before over a pittance of $150M). This would be an international scandal where China and Cameroon wil become priars.
China has no choice but honor the deal and not further dig a deeper hole for itself.
