I'd guess someone with deep pockets accumulated on the expectation that GMG would be a take-over target but is now worried that Stockland's move on GPT means GMG could be left as a wallflower?
Can't say for sure but I took this pullback as an opportunity to buy in. The risk:reward ratio looks good. Can't see too much more downside and happy to hold for a few days.
