I like your optimism. I went back over the past 3 years and looked for instances where the company requested a trading halt to determine what follows in an effort to establish a pattern...i know its arbitrary but nevertheless it's entertaining...
10/11/14 Trading Halt followed by notice that the Capri Loan is being assigned
16/7/15 Trading Halt followed by $3m share placement
06/06/16 – Trading Halt followed by Suspension followed by bad news re Road Collapse
17/06/16 – Trading Halt followed by Cap raising announcement that leads to massive dilution
2/9/16 Trading halt – Positive or negative news??
I am going to say that the pattern followed by this company is to announce good news without a trading halt..i.e.trivial stuff like, we poured 60 gold bars, our Pearse North application has now moved to the next guys desk and significant stuff like, we have received a $14.9m cheque from the ATO
Trading halts are normally followed by bad news...
