- CH4 + heat → C 2H 2 (without Producing any CO2)
LOL. It is total BS based based on theoretical stoichiometric yields. It has nothing to do with the actual yields from the process.
Real world chemistry is nothing like the grossly simplistic "A+B = C" reactions taught in high school 'chemistry' or regurgitated by the EDE propaganda department.
If you had even the slightest understanding of the EDE process or university level chemistry you would know:
1. Complex thermal reactions rarely produce anywhere near theoretical yields (often only a single digit percentage).
2. The EDE process produces methane minimally enriched with hydrogen (1-2% by weight)
2. The process is glacially slow.
3. It is extremely energy intensive.
I learned long ago that trying to explain any of this to you is a complete waste of time.
