For what it’s worth, as a passive observer I would not be surprised if SM was blindsided by the question about PEP-11, didn’t know anything about it, and said the first politically expedient thing that popped into his head.
If this is the case it means approval might still happen but there will be some awkward conversations going on behind the scenes. I hope that’s what happened and you all make a stack of money.
