The difference I was talking about is the quality of the product. Size matters. Raman spectroscopy does not tell you about the size of the graphene platelet, it tells you about the number of layers. HRTEM will give you info about the size of the platelets. AFM (atomic force microscopy) can show how the physical properties of the graphene change with respect to certain conditions and number of layers. Sorry I only compared the TEM's. All else being equal I'd expect Raman and AFM plots to be very similar as these are properties determined not by the size of the platelet but the number of layers and are inherent to graphene.
