AUM australian mining investments limited

could it be worth 170 a share

I have asked around on other forums, but i havent got a good answer yet.

If the estimates on the find are at about $17 billion worth of in situ copper, excluding gold and cobalt, and there are only 100 million shares, then wouldn't each share represent $170 worth of copper?

i understand that 17 billion is only the price of the copper in the ground. so any mining company who paid 17b would still make a good profit, even after tax, infrastructure and running costs of a mine.

taken from the Australian, at www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,20867,19673261-643,00.html,

"AMI might be sitting on copper with a value of $US13 billion ($17.5 billion). And that's what they call in-situ value, before it has been mined and refined."
