i concur with your analysis. A lot of mining stocks have in-situ values of over $10Bn and are worth about $100M. This is because of the whole idea of Net Present Value is to discount future cash flows.
Additionally, it needs to dilute. So its unlikely it will be worth $25 or even $5, as 200M shares will need to be issued
i guess don't waste any more time on this stock- its just a fluff of air really
Xstrata i am unsure whether they are preparing a bid - its unlikely they'll pay $500M
