Could it be that AGY doesn't really want to do a Zambia deal at all, that they are just waiting to see if they can get the Burundi tenements back on track first. If they do, then they will want to put up AGY to the highest bidder - China, Xtrata, etc. (China did a huge deal in the DRC a few months ago (worth $5 billion) Perhaps they have something worked out with Zambia just in case of a negative Burundi outcome.
Otherwise, why would it take so long to get the Zambia deal done and announced? (financing?) I think the directors (and us too) want to be rid of this company. They don't actually want to run a mine. I don't think PL would know what to do with an actual mine.
Rank specualation on my part, I know nothing (obviously).
A previous poster said PL was going to Zambia and then Burundi. Can anyone else confirm these rumors?
