I don't think that is quite correct. If FTSE drops another 100 points Pearl will incur a paper loss of approx.$350 mill. but AMP don't need to inject more funds until the FTSE hits 3000. At least that's how I read it.
Europe must be ready to have a bit of a rally by now so shortterm AMP may get a bit of relief.
