Well the only real difference I know of is that AAE are using "Axens Technology", that is the use of a Solid Catalsyst. I would assume that most other Biofuels Plants could be retrofitted with this technology depending on the outcomes in Plants using.

MBT have recently commissioned a Biodiesel Plant in Malayisa and they visited AAE's plant in Beatrice to view the "Axens Technology" as they plan to use it in their next Biodiesel Plant.
