Oh That link doesn’t open ...
The word/comment I took umbrage with in the story, FWIW, was that the mining services sector is ‘lousy’.
Since then I have learnt that, in many instances, it is.

But I also note that however lousy that sector still may be, NRW has done an amazing job diversifying away from simply being a mining services contractor;

It has grown by clever acquisition, acquiring, since that story, a useful division of Hughes Drilling, the excellent and highly reputed Queensland-based Golding, RCR Mining Technologies and, most recently, BGC - all at bargain prices and, where necessary, via heavily over subscribed capital raisings.
These buys bring urban and marine development, useful maintenance work, engineering services, and much more - including highly respected management teams - to the NRW portfolio resulting in the four pillars pictured below from the February 20 Half Yearly Results
