    if the market fell to 500, then the state of the economy would be such that people would be murdering eachother on the streets and we would be foraging for food

    the market follows economic activity and the earnings of companies

    Centro is not a fitting example because the company had too much debt, just like BNB, ABS, AFG, CIY, etc

    Bad companies are always going broke and being wound up

    TONY seems disconnected from reality

    For him, the charts appear to be something random rather than tied to economic activity

    When bank stocks like WBC crashed to $15, this was due to many fears, such as potential bad debts, expense credit costs, etc

    Falling to 500 means the end of society and civilisation as we know it

    Most of us would be unemployed and those with wealth will be using it to finance private armies
