The ASX may grant extended suspension for companies negotiating survival. Opthea flagged a funding cliff in its last financials and the directors signed the accounts noting several points of material uncertainty surrounding the company's ability to continue to trade as a going concern.
Opthea will apply for an extension citing material uncertainty, instability and ongoing negotiations.
