Wow! as various posters have identified this is now clearly the best, biggest, highest grade resource about to go into production in Australia.
I guess the issue is simply that the market doesn't know about it. Wilsons describes AML in a published report as "so under the radar that nobody has done any work on it"!
So why do the Board do zero promotion (unlike every other resource stock in the country)?
Don't they realize that Ann's on the ASX are only read by the handful of people currently following it and much broader awareness is needed?
It's unfortunate and concerning that they won't take opportunities handed to them on a plate.
One top ten SH, frustrated by the Board's inactivity spent 6 months developing a relationship with **promotion blocked** the giant international metals site.
**promotion blocked** eventually offered to promote AML on their site for 3 months for $10,000. That's millions of impressions globally including a major presence in China.
This would have led to many thousands of people following the stock not just the current handful. Can you imagine what the Chinese would make of the Cobalt opportunity alone?
So, What was the Board's response?
Absolutely nothing!
This SH who did all this work pro bono for AML spent 40 years in marketing and advertising and was voted one of the ten best in Australia so probably knows his stuff.
The Board spend multiples of this on jaunts OS yet won't spend $10,000 to massively increase awareness?
It seems hard to believe that this same Board are now asking SH to approve 2,500,000 shares each for themselves and more for their colleagues?
How can we reward underperformance this way?
On the other hand, I would have no problem with paying them incentives once the SP reaches benchmarks more in line with what valuations should be like $0.50 then $1.00.......
HOWEVER, the really good news is that you can't keep a good thing down forever and the current SP is a gift for those who do their own research.
Crunching the numbers leads to a current valuation of circa $300m or somewhere around $1 per share imo.
