PLease forgive the poor quality charts, its not my forte. However, thought a simple comparison with KAR might be of some interest.
First up, KAR runs from around 50cents to $1.50 in the space of a few weeks, then retraces over a week back to $1.
Second up, CVI runs from around 15cents to 38cents in the space fo a few weeks, then reatces to around 22cents.
Thirdly, KAR rebounds quickly and consolidates at around the highs of the previous run. (currently trading at around $3.50 2years on)
While history never repeats exactly, it does show an example for not being shaken out early in the transitional phase of a company.
If plans remain on track for CVI, forget consolidation in the mid-high 30's, this will occur at much higher prices IMHO.
