SABIC definitely are not diversifying away from Petchem, Aramco, through SABIC are diversifying from Oil/refining into Petchem. they are continually entering into multi billion deals in the Petchem space. Just look at latest upto $10B partnership signed with OQ in Oman.
Note, this is not poopoo-ing any potential RE project for Jubail. I just happen to be involved in the global Petchem scene very closely.
