    I can't say whether you are right or wrong. But you seem to be referring to acute elevation of cortisol which isn't what Xanamem is for. Chronically raised cortisol. Meaning your peaks are higher and your troughs are higher. I thought the half life was 12 hours, though even 8 would be suitable.

    consider the fact that half life is defined as the time taken to reduce the plasma concentration of the drug by 50%.

    therefore in the first 12 hours the plasma concentration would be between 20mg and by hour 12 would hit 10mg.

    target occupancy states that 10mg is suitable. So for the next 12 hours the range will be from 10mg to 5mg.

    10mg twice daily would result in the subject/patient having a plasma concentration below 7.5mg for 50% of the day

    one dose of 20mg would result in only a quarter of the day below 7.5mg.

    pharmacokinetics is obviously much more complex than how I have just explained it but there are too many variables for the sake of an explanation.

    I think what they are doing is spot on. The 4 trials should dramatically derisk the stock. We only have to replicate XanaHES once and we can all quit our jobs.
