You made a placement at $1.68 while your shares were publicly traded at $1?
No one in their right mind would buy into a placement at $1.68 when the shares are trading at $1, unless they were somehow tricked into it, i.e. the sp was actually near $2 at the time of placement, the new investors got their discount and then the sp fell to $1.
No matter how you look at it someone got screwed and in typical director fashion it wasn't the directors - the SH were left holding the bag.
