rager1965, see small trades all the time on stocks to make one side or other look weaker or stronger than it is. eg say stock had a last trade of $1.50 but selling depth only starts at say $1.70. If you were wanting to stop share price rising too fast you could put in small sales orders say at $1.55. Eveidently lot of non sopisticated investors when they go to buy or sell just look at where buy/sell bids are, not where volume is. Lots of small oders also commonly put in to fill gaps to try and obscure weakness on one side or other.
Makes you wonder as well when I thought ASX rules limited orders to minimum value $500.?
