I don't think many would disagree, but getting it right, most of the time, is a rarity. Few can and good for them, but for most its a recipe for disaster.
Wild swings in the equity markets on any given day, is what the market will do, irregardless of what might be occurring fundamentally.
Forming judgement on the macroeconomic scene based on day to day price action is a futile excercise, Instead focus on long term big picture.
