1929-1932 crash and LONG and SLOW grind back up to finally make a new high in 1954."
AHhhh here we go again.
You are forgetting the fact that the world has changed and evolved. Every household now has computers. Children aged 16 and above through to the mums and dads are trading and investing in shares and brokers including all of the above can buy and sell shares within seconds at their finger tips these days. That wasn't possible in 1929- 1954.
This is why markets can turn around either good or bad so much faster in the 21st century.
This isn't to mention all of the technology and funds available in the gov't these days as well.
Let's get with the times here.
The stock market will NEVER be like the so called good ol days.
