I have some empathy - I love French cars. My favourite car ever was a Citroen DS (the car featured in 'Back to the Future' and many other movies, for those too young to remember this French classic) but I know what you mean about those breakdowns. Great car to look at which I did plenty of, as it was more often off the road than on.

These days I stick to safe, reliable Japanese cars. Never had any problems - ever. Currently own a Nissan. Brilliant.

Come on GGP - give us an announcement and put us out of our misery. It's starting to feel like a 'love affair' with a classic French car.....so many promises of great times, so little signs of affection.
Come to think of it, that's also a diagnosis of: 'Narscissitic Personality Disorder'
