    Interesting thoughts. Xstrata (I think) is no 1 zinc producer in the world. Buying no 2 could be a problem. Also they may have too many eggs in one basket. Vale may consider it to gain a Zinc exposure as well as increase their copper exposure.
    So, my thoughts
    Xstrata - no
    Vale - a possability, but I am not holding my breath waiting.
