Golfzoner will be pleased to know that if he wants to stop
moaning (about refugees) and do something useful for
them and himself, there are lots placement agencies
(some are religious and some are secular) to help
him to help refugees settle in and find work.

One is run by the Australian Homestay Network. AHN has new
programs to reach new audiences with homestay needs:

Community Placement Network (‘CPN’) – hosting eligible Asylum Seekers leaving immigration detention on a Bridging visa and AHN is partnered
with a Department of Immigration approved Community Organisations.

Homestay Helping Hand (‘HHH’) – hosting eligible Asylum Seekers, Refugees, and marginalised Australians in exchange for help around the home and a small weekly fee.

Community Placement Network Assistance Trust (‘CPNAT’) – A chance for Australians to donate money that goes 100% to those in need. CPNAT is ideal for those unable to host but wanting to be part of the solution.

The AHN webpage is at: http://www.homestaynetwork.org
