could this be bad???

The Alberta government announced a cabinet shuffle Friday, and the Edmonton Journal had a few news stories about it in the Saturday paper. You might be interested to know that the new minister of the "Environment and Sustainable Development" portfolio is Mr. Robin Campbell, formerly the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs.

Mr Campbell is the member of the legislative assembly elected in the riding of West Yellowhead, which encompasses Hinton, Edson, Jasper and area. Prior to being elected, Mr Campbell was the local union president of the United Mine Workers of America.

The Opposition Leader observed, "Putting Robin Campbell in the position of environment minister is a mistake because he is Mr. Coal."

Anyway, I don't believe that having Mr. Coal as Environment Minister is a bad thing re Coalspur's development/regulatory process, but whaddyathink???
