Me thinks flatchat is right. Rechner's operational style and objectives in the past were apparently not a success but he has kept his equity in while this new team rescue the company from the deathly inaction of 2008.

They appear to be managing the risks and working through all of the 'what ifs' to develop, joint venture or move on assets. We may even see a new proposal or two arise if we are lucky. Certainly there is not copious cash available so their progress will probably be measured - to position SER for the 'big win' that all exploration companies crave.

All in all certainly one to watch particularly as the market has given them little credence for Bass Strait where they were first before the Albers group, who initially farmed in to SER blocks.
