Based on the 2009 financial report as at Sept 16 there were 45,191,253 share listed and 53.75% of those were in the hands of the top 20 shareholders. George Sakalidis through his various investments in Magnetic Resources had at least a 4.17% holding. The 2009 financial Report also indicated that there were 69 share holders with holding in excess of 100,000 shares. Using these figures and assuming that the remaining 49 holders not in the top 20 with a holding greater than 100,000 shares have just 100,000 shares equates to a further 10.85% holding. Just on that it's about 65% of the the company in the hands of a few.

On October 23rd it was announced that a further 5,895,000 share were to be issued for capital raising bringing the number of shares listed to 51,086,253. These were issued to sophisticated and professional investors.

On December 29th announcement that George Sakalidis purchased 14,000 shares at Market.

On January 15th announcement Appendix 3B related to the share issue announced on October 23rd.

On January 18th announcement that George Sakalidis purchased 589,812 shares at Market increasing his holding.

It looks like George has 3 separate investments in Magnetic Resources shares of which 2 are in the top 20. However his total shareholding Magnetic had at the time of the last purchase increased by about 3% to 7.48%

On February 17th it was announced that a further 3,700,000 share were to be issued for capital raising bringing the number of shares listed to 54,786,253. These were issued to sophisticated and professional investors.

Im looking forward to seeing if the large share movements noted yesterday bring out any further announcements director shareholder increases at market given that the Appendix 3B announcement today was related to the new rights issue announced on February 17th.
