The market doesn't work off insider trading. That is a myth only posted on message boards filled with private investors who like blaming others for poor decisions when they go wrong. Placings that made their investors money are deemed insider trading, but everyone forgets about when they lose money, because that doesn't fit their agenda.
What about the RRL placing at 17p? The one at 12.5p? Two examples of institutions losing money and that's just on one shares. I've got plenty more examples if you want.
