yeah it’s a good idea to just hang on to the good ones and never sell until you want to use it to produce an income.
my Mate also similar, but not as lucky bought in 1000 shares at $5 and has not touched CSL since.
He also has regretted selling and rebuying many good other companies that pulled back 50-60% but now would all be 15+baggers like the WAAAX Types if he just held.
