The announcement clearly states that VPG only contributed its own properties worth about $400 odd million to the DUKE JV.
The European properties it manages - which amount to about $9 billion or so are clearly not part of the deal.
Re-read the announcement - it's crystal clear that the European fund management business is retained by VPG.
That's why this is such a good deal.
