If we really do have a famine situation emerging and it is blamed on biofuels, could there be a pullback in the Ag boom? I know China had big plans for biofuel about 2-3 years ago and the projects are all being cancelled, could this happen in the US/EU?
I realise the longer term linkages between oil and ag mean the ag boom will be sustained, just wonder if it will face a correction at some stage due to a biofuel backlash?
