It really doesn't matter what they claim. Total cash costs are higher than BHP and FMG debt will drown them by next June. When the music stops there will be a lot of investigation to see exactly what went wrong with this company.
We are in the middle of another global downturn which the investment banks and government are trying to talk down by misinterpreting financial data and indicators.
BHP will suffer as well but there will be no future for FMG and many other hopefuls that rely on a booming market to survive.
