The US had low interest rates for years and now there is anther housing bubble in the US.
They are coming to realize they need high interest rates in order to stimulate the economy. People need return on investment before they start spending. The stock market is also overheating in the US. The best way to slow market movement is by increasing interest rates which shifts money from markets into cash.
BHP costs $16
RIO costs $17
FMG costs $40
The problem with high cost producers like FMG is they are used by the Chinese to create a boom bust economy.
