2. Explanation of Item
Council’s Nearmap subscription is due for renewal (expiring 30 September 2016). Nearmap has changed its pricing model from the previous renewal to now being based on data usage (similar to an internet plan).
Based on Council’s historical usage the proposed subscription plan will allow for 100 GB of data to be consumed per month.
The licence fee for the new subscription is $200,000 and will be paid in the following instalments:
• First instalment of $50,000 in 2016
• Second instalment of $75,000 in 2017
• Third instalment of $75,000 in 2018
