    The highlites for mine....

"Both Buller District (BDC) and West Coast
Regional (WCRC) council offi cers have come out in
favour of Bathurst?s proposed new Denniston mine."

and this explains why we have heard nothing from DOC.....

    "Department of Conservation absent
Conspicuous by its absence at the hearing has
been the Department of Conservation (Doc)."...

...?We can?t prejudice the consideration process by
commenting on aspects of the application until a
decision has been made,? he said."

and this confirms the feelings of others I have tried too squeeze on the DOC process..........

"BCL lawyer Jo Appleyard earlier told the hearing it
had lodged an application for the main Escarpment
Mine with Doc in December 2008. In light of ?constructive?
discussions with Doc she was confi dent
    access would be granted."

    Have a good day all

    Viney
