It appears the main reason for traffic carparks on our freeways, is the lack of commonsense of merging, re the side lanes.
When coming home from Perth heading South, it's almost like you can pick the class of people. LOL. The further south you go, the idiots seem to slow down, way back from the lane they want to exit, and it gets worse as you go.
Then as soon as you hit our runoff, off it goes, as the limit goes up to 110k's, as the next run is longer, heading to Mandurah.
Years ago when Roofing, if I left home at say 6, 6.30, I could be going through Perth in 20mins. Out the other side, I used to laugh, as coming into Perth from the North, that would be banked up for miles, and I used to think, why in the hec would you want to be part of that lol. And blow me down, obviously the news got out of the Great place South of Perth, and now it takes more like and hour to get to Perth.
A minor mishap on the freeway, can cause traffic issues for 2 - 4 hrs.
