Sort of figured that . Your dilemma is going to become more common I think . People are living longer and are keen to stay in the same location so downsizing is a real thing .
On top of that technology is going to be a big help . It's a fair way off for me yet ( fingers crossed ) but I'd like to think that I can stay in my home , maybe right till the end . Modern communications and other tech should help enable that . Regular visits by a nurse ( maybe a robot by then ? ) should keep me away from the nursing home . Staying in touch is getting easier all the time so you shouldn't feel isolated in your own house .
