Would WES walk away from this deal? Unlikely as the Lynas deal is going nowhere and cash from the Coles demerger is sitting there not earning much income. WES need growth options better than bank interest. Building more Bunnings in a slowing housing market ain’t going to do it for them either. Kidman and Lithium is where the growth is. WES need to share some of the future value to get this over the line.
