It is a distinct possibility the farminee board meeting will be tomorrow (our time in Aus) and Meo management could be notified over the week-end with the resultant trading halt Monday morning.

The farminee wants this as much as we do, otherwise they would have not wasted as much time, energy and money in this overall process. The dealers would not have made the deal without board approval, this in my eyes is a just one of the formalities to consummate this marriage.

As another poster mentioned a lot of people have been burnt by previous delays and resultant SP fluctuatiuos. So many wary sitting on sidelines waiting for news.

There will be no prior knowledge during normal trading hours of a positive outcome.
