I am not optimistic about this guidance re-becoming cash flow positive.
I am tipping that when they fail, they will just say it was only a rough indication and not a commitment. Or they will say “this happened” or “that happened” and we can no longer be expected to deliver. Or we were setting a high bar to motivate the team. Or a new opportunity came up which we decided to fund. Or we got rid of the guy who came up with that. Or an act of God happened (e.g. a pandemic) which caused us to reset expectations....rah rah and blah blah......
The bottom line is that this is not a company known for making and delivering on promises.
But a great idea to remind them. Why not email them every now and then to keep it in the front of their minds?
Why does the board not expect any accountability?
