SLogger and I see eye to eye on bonuses. A bonus as the word suggests should be paid over and above salary for those who achieve additional goals or who exceed expectations on their assigned tasks. They should only be paid when the organisation itself is improving its performance and the individual success has led to more overall overall success. I do not agree with paying bonuses for achieving the goals set for the role - that’s what the salary is for.

If ACR is paying bonuses for achieving the set goals for the roles when the organisation is failing and is propped up by holder cash injections then that should cease. If staff require bonuses just to stay on then let them leave. Some new blood every now and then is a good thing.
