ExxonMobul is US company that can't do business in Cuba. Even if the US lifts sanctions next week, it will take time before any kind of business transactions between the two countries will be normalized. Best bet for takeover, if that happens, is China, Brazil, Mexico or some European oil major. Sonangol, although the largest, or second largest oil company in Africa, has capital of only about US 8 billion which is not enough and Russians have enough problems at home.
