Genentech deal will happen if it happens... these licensing collaborations sometimes don't proceed due to commercial considerations even if the compound works. I'm not hanging my hat on Genentech even though it will be good if it comes through.
You listed a bunch of conferences. Go to the conference websites and check the companies attending / exhibiting / speaking. PYC is not there.
They seem to be more focussed discussing with their scientific advisors / consultants. They need to get a product ready if they want to talk deal ie compound, IND, tox results, pharmacology, transporter studies.
Also, they will be better served going to actual oncology conferences to promote their IP than the usual list you have looked at.
They will have flagged the concept with pharma already. Pharma will want to see the data package before they agree to discuss deal.
Therefore, I speculate RH and PW decided to avoid the conferences as they are too busy getting stuff done this year. Hocking has 50+% and he is on the board. He would have told them to focus on execution. My speculative views based on my experiences elsewhere.
