You don't know that for sure... There could be lots of juicy information and contracts etc in the company update...
So it won't be the official audited financials but there still could be a summary of position, including what you requested...
They are not going to release an update just for the hell of it, if they have nothing of value to put in it.. So I would think there would be some valuable information in it...
