The future of our Mt Carbine #Tungsten mine is intricately intertwined with the application of new technology. We are delighted to work closely with TOMRA Mining, leaders in ore sorting technology. The big red piece of kit pictured below is our second XRT sorter being loaded on the journey to Mt Carbine. This doubles our sorter capacity with the sorter and associated spares and electrics having arrived on site this month.
As our BFS gets closer to completion and release, we look forward to giving further details of how this advanced sorting technology fits into our plans for breathing life back into Mt Carbine.
Sorting ore from our low-grade stockpile has been a game changer for the Mt Carbine plant with XRT delivering a tenfold upgrade of feed for our gravity circuit.
