zinc price is down substantially since the Saudi zinc project was auctioned in which Alara JV bid second to become the back up.
zinc price has about halved since the planning for the bidding would have taken place.
i wonder if the winning bidder is going ahead or not, probably just sitting on it. maybe alara jv can get it while zinc prices are low.
